This group of business services focuses on how your company runs day to day. The common thread is making your company less dependent on one person remembering everything.
Proactive Strategies, Inc. is a financial and business consulting firm in Atlanta. Our work is meant to outlast the engagement, which is why we train your staff and provide operating procedures rather than leaving behind a report that sits on a shelf. We have experience with retail, healthcare, technology, manufacturing and small businesses, and we adapt to the way your people actually work instead of forcing a template on them.
Most engagements begin by watching where work slows down: invoices that wait on one signature, customer information spread across three places, or month-end tasks that only one employee understands. Then we fix what matters most first and keep the changes small enough to stick. Pricing can be hourly, monthly or by project, so you can start with one problem and decide from there whether to continue.

- Owners who feel the company cannot run without them
- Growing businesses whose old routines no longer keep up

We focus on the delays, errors and risks costing you the most time and attention.
Design something simple
New steps are kept as plain as possible, so your team can follow them on a busy day.
Write it down and train
We provide operating procedures and train your staff until the routine feels normal.
Check back and adjust
We review how the changes are holding up and refine anything that is not working.
In Georgia
Georgia companies have routines that written procedures should capture, such as the annual Secretary of State registration, local business license renewals, state tax accounts and, for many employers, E-Verify requirements. We build these into your calendar and procedures. For metro Atlanta and south metro businesses, meetings can be by phone, online or by appointment.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Have a question that is not answered here? Book a consultation and ask us directly.
What does a business process consultant actually do?
We look at how work moves through your company, identify where it slows down or goes wrong, and help you set up a better way. That usually results in clearer steps, written procedures and staff training. It is practical work focused on your daily operations rather than theory.
How long do process and advisory engagements usually last?
It varies with the work. A single procedure may be a short project, while part-time financial leadership or owner coaching tends to continue over time. We discuss scope during your consultation, and pricing can be hourly, monthly or by project, so you are not locked into one shape.
Will my staff be involved in the changes?
Yes, and that matters. The people doing the work usually know where the problems are, and changes hold up better when they helped shape them. We talk with your staff, train them on new routines and provide written procedures they can refer back to.
Can a very small business benefit from written processes?
Often, yes. Even a company with two or three people benefits when invoicing, bill paying and customer follow-up are written down. It makes hiring easier, covers you when someone is out, and gives you back time. We keep the documents short and suited to your size.
Do you provide legal advice on contracts or company structure?
No. We are a financial and business consulting firm, not a law firm. We can organize information and help you think through the business side, and we will tell you when a question should go to an attorney of your choosing, such as for contracts or agreements.
